Royal Purple Max-Tane is an all-in-one, all-season diesel fuel additive that combines a cetane improver, injector detergent, lubricity agent and cold-flow improver in a single bottle. This listing is the factory case of six 20-ounce bottles, Royal Purple part number 06755.
Max-Tane was developed around the demands of high pressure common rail injection, where clearances between the injector assembly and needle plunger run in the 1 to 3 micron range and deposits cause sticking. It contains diesel-specific detergents to keep those surfaces clean plus friction modifiers to prevent plunger sticking. Royal Purple states that Max-Tane contains 100 percent active ingredients, with no inactive solvent carriers.

Fuel Compatibility and Treat Rate
Compatible with any type or grade of diesel fuel, including #1 diesel, #2 diesel, biodiesel and ultra-low sulfur diesel, in light, medium and heavy-duty diesel engines. The minimum recommended dose is one ounce per five gallons of fuel; high-performance applications can safely run one ounce per two gallons. One 20-ounce bottle treats up to 100 gallons at the minimum rate. Do not pour Max-Tane into Diesel Exhaust Fluid.
