Intercooler Pipes & Hoses

Intercooler pipes and hoses carry pressurized air from the turbo to the intercooler and from the intercooler to the engine. On many diesel trucks, the factory boots and plastic or thin-wall pipes are a weak spot: they can blow off or split under boost, especially after a tune or a turbo upgrade, and a boost leak means lost power and higher exhaust gas temperatures.

Shop direct-fit charge pipes and tube kits from Mishimoto, PPE, Wehrli, aFe, Banks and Sinister that replace factory pipes with mandrel-bent aluminum. For repairs and custom work, we carry couplers, boots and silicone hoses in straight, elbow, hump and reducer styles, universal aluminum tubing and bends by diameter, and T-bolt clamps and hardware from Vibrant and others.

When upgrading, replace the boots and clamps at the same time as the pipes. Constant-tension or T-bolt clamps hold much better than worm-gear clamps on a boosted system. A boost leak test before and after the install is a quick way to confirm everything is sealed.

Not a side department. Injectors, pumps, and turbos, day in and day out — which is why we catch things a general shop misses.
