Crate Engines

Crate Engines covers complete long blocks for diesel trucks: assembled engines ready to install, without the time and uncertainty of rebuilding a worn-out engine yourself. If your engine has a major failure, such as a spun bearing, a cracked block or a dropped valve, a long block is often the fastest way to get the truck back on the road.

This collection includes long blocks from Industrial Injection, DFC Engines and Fleece Performance for Duramax LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML and other generations, Ford Power Stroke 6.0L and 6.7L engines, and Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins engines. Options range from stock-replacement builds to street and performance series engines with upgraded parts such as stronger crankshafts and pistons.

A long block typically includes the block, crank, rods, pistons, heads and valvetrain, but not the injectors, turbo or accessories. Check what is included before ordering, and plan for new gaskets, fluids and filters. Many long blocks carry a core charge refunded when you return your old engine.
