Turbochargers
The turbocharger is one of the most important parts on a modern diesel. It uses exhaust energy to push more air into the engine, which is where a diesel gets its power and towing ability. When a turbo starts to fail, you usually see smoke, whistling, low boost or oil in the intake, and replacing it quickly can save the engine from further damage.
Shop complete turbochargers, both new and remanufactured, from Garrett, BorgWarner, Holset and Turbosmart, sorted by engine family for Power Stroke, Cummins, Duramax, EcoDiesel and heavy-duty engines. We also carry VGT turbochargers for late-model trucks, turbo upgrade kits from Industrial Injection, BD Diesel and others for more power, and compound turbo systems for high-horsepower builds.
If your turbo failed, find out why before installing a new one. Oil supply problems, intake leaks and debris are common causes. For gaskets, oil lines, actuators and rebuild parts, see Turbocharger Parts & Accessories.
