Belt & Accessory Drive covers the belts, tensioners and pulleys that drive a diesel's alternator, water pump, power steering pump, A/C compressor and fan. A worn belt or weak tensioner can squeal, slip or throw the belt, and on many trucks, losing the belt means losing cooling and charging at the same time.

Shop application-specific serpentine belts from Gates sorted by vehicle and chassis, universal Micro-V belts by rib count, and serpentine belt kits that bundle the belt with a tensioner and idlers. We also carry belt tensioners, idler pulleys, pulleys, brackets and dual alternator kits, and vacuum pumps. Brands include Gates, PPE, Alliant Power, Fleece, Industrial Injection and Grizzly.

When replacing a belt, check the tensioner and idler pulleys for noise, wobble or rough bearings. Replacing them at the same time as the belt is usually cheaper than doing the job twice. Keep a spare belt in the truck if you travel far from parts stores.
