Intake Manifolds

The intake manifold and the horn or elbow that feeds it are the last stop for air before it enters the cylinders. On many diesel trucks, the factory intake horn and grid heater create a restriction right at the engine, and replacing them is a common way to improve airflow, especially on trucks running larger turbos or more fuel.

Shop intake horns and elbows from Banks, Wehrli, PPE, Sinister and aFe for Cummins, Duramax and Power Stroke engines, sorted by engine family and generation. We also carry intake plates, plenums and grid heater deletes, performance intake manifolds, and grid heaters and heater kits for trucks that need to keep their cold-start heater.

If you live somewhere with cold winters, think about how your truck will start before removing a grid heater. Many intake horns and plates are available in versions that keep the heater, so you can improve airflow without giving up cold-weather starting.

Diesel Fuel Systems Are All We Do.

Not a side department. Injectors, pumps, and turbos, day in and day out — which is why we catch things a general shop misses.
