Red Line MT-90 is the most widely applied gear oil in the GL-4 manual transmission family. It is safe for brass synchros specifically because it lacks the reactive sulfurs found in most GL-5 gear oils, which is what makes those oils unsuitable for a manual gearbox. Packaged in the one-gallon jug. Sold as a case of 4 one-gallon jugs.

It satisfies API GL-1, GL-3 and GL-4 and most special synchromesh fluids, and also meets SAE 10W40 and 15W40 motor oil viscosity requirements.
