Red Line MT-90 is the most widely applied gear oil in the GL-4 manual transmission family. It is safe for brass synchros specifically because it lacks the reactive sulfurs found in most GL-5 gear oils, which is what makes those oils unsuitable for a manual gearbox. This is the five-gallon pail, sized for shops and for owners running the same fluid across a fleet or a stable of cars.

Applications
