Red Line Diesel WaterWetter is the heavy-duty version of WaterWetter, built for commercial diesel cooling systems that already carry a supplemental coolant additive package. It delivers the same heat transfer improvement as standard WaterWetter but deliberately leaves out the rust and corrosion inhibitors, so it will not overload a system that is already pre-charged. Sold as a case of 12 15 oz bottles.
Key Features
- Designed for heavy-duty diesel engines running more than 33 percent antifreeze or a supplemental corrosion package
- Similar properties and benefits to regular WaterWetter, but lacks rust and corrosion inhibitors
- Reduces or eliminates the vapor barrier that forms on hot metal surfaces, lowering coolant temperatures by up to 20 degrees F
- Superior heat transfer properties compared with glycol-based antifreeze
- Compatible with new or used antifreeze including DEX-COOL and long-life versions
- Suitable for all modern aluminum, cast iron, copper, brass and bronze cooling systems
- Cleans and lubricates water pump seals
- Reduces cavitation and complexes with hard water to reduce scaling
- Contains no ethylene glycol
Directions and Coverage
A typical diesel commercial vehicle takes one 15 oz bottle, which treats up to 15 gallons of coolant.

Important: this is the heavy-duty commercial formula. Red Line specifies that diesel road cars and light trucks fitted with Cummins, Duramax and Power Stroke engines should use regular WaterWetter instead, so the cooling system keeps full rust and corrosion protection. WaterWetter does not lower a cooling system below its thermostatically controlled temperature.
