Red Line CV-2 Extreme Pressure Grease with Moly - 14 oz Jar (Case of 4)

Red Line CV-2 is a synthetic extreme pressure grease with organic moly, built for the temperatures and pressures inside high-performance wheel bearings and CV joints. Red Line rates it from -100 to 500 degrees F. Sold as a case of 4 14 oz jars.

Key Features

• Withstands extreme temperature and pressure in wheel bearings, U-joints and high-angle CV joints
• Excellent high-temperature stability, extreme-pressure protection and water resistance
• Rated for operating temperatures from -100 to 500 degrees F
• Strong resistance to oxidation and corrosion, with low evaporation and oil separation and minimal effect on rubber seals
• Very high melting point and excellent water washout resistance
• Contains an organic moly, suiting it to chassis lubrication and high-temperature, high-speed industrial equipment
• Red Line lists bearing life increases of 200 to 800 percent
• Retains consistency and extreme-pressure performance under high-temperature and high-shear conditions

Applications

Wheel bearings, high-angle and conventional CV joints, U-joints, chassis lubrication, and high-temperature or high-speed industrial equipment.

CV-2 darkens after high-temperature use, which Red Line notes does not affect performance. It is compatible with small amounts of many petroleum-based greases, but Red Line recommends thoroughly cleaning out the old grease to remove abrasive particles and avoid any incompatibility.
