Red Line Assembly Lube goes on wear surfaces before assembly to stop metal contact at first start-up, before oil pressure comes up. Because it is built from motor oil components it blends into the oil rather than plugging the filter, which is where heavy moly pastes cause trouble. Sold as a case of 4 16 oz jars.

Applications
A thin film on mating parts is all that is required. Use only a small amount on bearing and piston surfaces, since too much can make the engine difficult to turn over. Can also be used on machined surfaces for long-term corrosion protection.
