Red Line 75W140 GL-5 Gear Oil is built for differentials that run hot. It keeps its film where lighter grades thin out, which is why it turns up in towing, light truck and stock car applications. This is the one-gallon jug, a convenient size for a full service on one vehicle. Sold as a case of 4 one-gallon jugs.

Red Line does not recommend this product for most manual transmissions or transaxles with synchronizers. The extreme slipperiness can cause synchronizer mesh issues and shifting problems. Use an MT-series GL-4 gear oil in those applications.
