The AirDog II-5G DF-165-5G is a complete fuel air separation system for 1998.5-2004 Dodge Ram 5.9L 24V Cummins trucks. It pairs a 165 GPH gerotor lift pump with AirDog's patented air separation, a water separator and a fuel filter, so the injection system receives clean fuel with the entrained air, vapor and water removed. AirDog rates the 165 GPH version for moderately modified trucks.

Installation

The pump mounts to the frame rail with the supplied sandwich plate. A Fuel Module Upgrade Kit is installed in the factory fuel basket to draw fuel through a factory-style 1/2" bulkhead fitting, bypassing the factory in-tank lift pump. The pressure side connects directly into the side of the injection pump, bypassing the factory fuel filter housing, and the air/vapor return uses the factory 3/8" suction line once the module is modified.
