AirDog's II-5G DF-165-5G is a complete fuel air separation system for 2004.5-2024 Dodge/Ram 5.9L and 6.7L common rail Cummins trucks. It pairs a 165 GPH gerotor lift pump with AirDog's patented air separation, a water separator and a fuel filter, so the injection system receives clean fuel with the entrained air, vapor and water removed. AirDog rates the 165 GPH version for moderately modified trucks.

Installation

The pump mounts to the frame rail with the supplied sandwich plate. A Fuel Module Upgrade Kit goes into the factory fuel basket so fuel is drawn through a factory-style 1/2" bulkhead fitting, bypassing the factory in-tank lift pump. The pressure side feeds directly into the side of the injection pump, bypassing the factory fuel filter housing, and the air/vapor return goes back to the tank through the factory 3/8" suction line once the module is modified.
