A water-cooled stainless steel T4 turbo pedestal for marine GM 6.6L Duramax. Internal passages carry cooling water through the pedestal itself, which matters on an engine sitting under a cover or in a confined space where a dry pedestal cannot shed heat.

Installation

PPE states this pedestal bolts to the factory location with no modifications necessary.

Note: PPE non-marine T4 pedestal carries a caveat this page does not - that 2001-2004 LB7 applications need pedestal and turbo flange modification for intake runner clearance. PPE does not say whether that applies here. Contact us before ordering for an LB7-based build.

Fitment

PPE fitment table lists 23 applications spanning 2001 through 2010, covering LB7, LLY, LBZ including the 2007 Classic body, and LMM through 2010. Note that PPE display title reads 2001-2006, which its own fitment data contradicts. If your build is 2007-2010, contact us and we will confirm with PPE before you order.

Note: PPE fitment rows for this part list GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD only. The equivalent non-marine pedestal also lists Chevrolet Silverado. That looks like a data omission rather than an engineering limit, and is largely academic on a marine engine.

Note: PPE builds this around the Garrett 40 Series. PPE states a 42 Series, 45 Series or other T4-mount turbo can be MADE to fit, which implies fabrication rather than a bolt-on swap.
