PPE MicroPure XR engine oil filter for 2001-2019 GM 6.6L Duramax. It roughly triples the OEM filter media area and drops the nominal rating from 20 micron to 5.

  • Steel-NBR poppet and precision coil spring seal the bypass valve, where competitors leave it unsealed
  • Heat-resistant silicone anti-drainback valve retains oil after shutdown for protection against dry starts
  • 50% thicker high-strength steel base plate, 13/16-16 UNF thread, with 47% larger oil passages
  • Bypass valve opens 10 psi higher than the stock filter for greater system protection
  • Perforated metal core supports the media
  • Metal centre tube supports the media against pressure
  • Pleat-locking spiral adhesive bead keeps pleats evenly spaced
  • TorqSTOP technology prevents over-tightening and reinforces the gasket, giving a 450 psi burst rating
