A complete cast iron cylinder head for 2004.5-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LLY/LBZ/LMM engines, supplied with the valve train installed. The factory aluminum head expands at a different rate to the iron block, which scrubs the head gasket until it fails.

Note: PPE has not published CARB certification for these cylinder heads, and distributors list them as not for sale in California pending certification. Confirm before ordering into California.

Note: PPE states LLY engines require LBZ or LMM glow plugs with this head. Budget for those as part of the build.

Note: for extreme-performance builds generating excessive heat, PPE recommends upgrading to oversized exhaust valve seats with increased interference.
