Choosing Aluminum or Stainless

PPE offers this tubing in two materials. The 575 series is 6061 aluminum in 12 gauge, 0.080 inch wall, suited to intercooler and intake piping. The 576 series is 304 stainless in 16 gauge, 0.060 inch wall, suited to exhaust and heat. Note the stainless is the THINNER wall of the two.
