A replacement engine coolant thermostat for the 2.5-liter four-cylinder and 3.1-liter five-cylinder diesel engines used in export-market Cherokee and Grand Cherokee models. The thermostat regulates coolant flow to the radiator so the engine reaches and holds normal operating temperature. A gasket is included and the unit installs as a direct fit in the factory housing.
