The SAE 50 grade of Motul's Classic monograde oil is a mineral lubricant for vintage engines and gearboxes built between 1900 and 1950 that call for a heavier straight weight. Detergency is kept low on purpose so the oil suits period gasket materials and does not disturb long-settled deposits.
