Motul 8100 X-clean EFE 5W-30 is a 100% synthetic engine oil that pairs high protection with the extra fuel economy behaviour its EFE name refers to. It meets ACEA C2 and C3 and is approved by BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Opel.

Applications and Notes
Motul lists recommendations for Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, SsangYong, Hyundai and Kia applications. Suits Euro 4, 5 and 6 compliant engines requiring either an ACEA C3 oil with high HTHS above 3.5 mPa.s or an ACEA C2 low friction oil with HTHS at or above 2.9 mPa.s, both mid SAPS. Motul specifically warns not to use X-clean EFE 5W-30 where a VW 504 00 or 507 00 oil is required, and notes it may be unsuitable for some engines, so check the owner's manual if in doubt.
