Motul Motylgear 75W-85 is a Technosynthese gearbox and differential oil that trades a little hot-side viscosity for reduced gearbox drag. Motul rates it to both API GL-4 and API GL-5.

Applications and Notes
For mechanical transmissions, synchronized or not, gearbox/differential units, transfer gearboxes and hypoid differentials without a limited slip system. If the differential uses a limited slip system, choose a Motul gear oil formulated for LSD service.
