Motul DOT 5.1 is a 100% synthetic polyglycol brake fluid for systems specifying a DOT 5.1, DOT 4 or DOT 3 fluid. Its low temperature fluidity is tuned for ABS and other electronic stability systems that have to move fluid quickly.

- Dry boiling point of 516F (272C), against a DOT 4 minimum of 446F (230C)

Applications and Notes
Despite the name, DOT 5.1 is a polyglycol fluid and must not be confused with silicone-based DOT 5. Do not mix Motul DOT 5.1 with silicone or mineral brake fluids.
