King's XA material is a strengthened copper-based tri-metal with higher tin content, which King specifies for medium and high-load engines and which carries more load than conventional tri-metal. Per King's published size chart, the .026 mm size adds about .0005 in of shell thickness on a standard-diameter journal, tightening oil clearance by roughly .001 in.
