The K&N 33-3005 is a washable flat panel air filter for Volkswagen Group MQB platform cars, covering both TDI diesel and TSI/TFSI petrol engines in 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 litre form. Volkswagen Group uses the same factory air box design across a wide range of powertrains, which is why a single filter shape serves this many models and fuel types. It drops straight into the factory air box in place of the disposable paper element.
