This kit lets you upgrade the E41 ECM in a 2017-2023 Duramax truck for tuning without pulling the controller out of the vehicle. Once the upgrade is complete, VCM Suite gains read, write, and special function access on the ECM, and HP Tuners lists the full process at roughly 20 minutes start to finish.

Fitment

2017-2023 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 6.6L Duramax, covering L5P and L5D applications. Requires an MPVI2+ with Pro Feature Set, an MPVI3, or an MPVI4 interface — this kit is not compatible with MPVI or MPVI2 devices. Each vehicle still needs to be licensed with six Universal Credits, which are sold separately.
