Complete flat tappet conversion for the 2025-2026 Ram 6.7L Cummins, replacing the factory roller valvetrain with Hamilton's forged steel camshaft and DLC-coated tappet package.

What's Included

  • Forged steel camshaft
  • DLC-coated steel tappets
  • Heavy-duty pushrods
  • Rocker arms

Key Features

  • Forged camshaft rather than cut from bar stock, producing a denser and more uniform grain structure with a harder exterior layer formed during forging
  • Tappets are gas carburized and polished to create a stable hardened base for the DLC coating
  • DLC coating substantially reduces friction and wear

Fitment

  • 2025-2026 Ram 6.7L Cummins 24-valve

Ordering and Installation Notes

  • Rocker arm core charge applies
  • DLC coating can be damaged by incorrect oil, improper valve lash, valve float or excessive RPM; correct operating conditions are essential to service life

Break-In and Oil

Flat-tappet valvetrains require 15W-40 oil with adequate zinc, phosphorus and molybdenum (5W-40 in sub-zero conditions). Approved oils include Valvoline, Schaeffer's, Mobil Delvac Extreme, LIQUI MOLY Touring High Tech, Driven Racing Oil and Shell Rotella.
