This Coolant Bypass kit from Fleece Performance routes additional coolant to the rear of the block on 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 5.9L VP44 24V Cummins, where factory flow is weakest and coolant temperatures run highest.

- Secondary thermostat operates on temperature rather than pressure, so flow increases before pressure becomes a problem
- Increases coolant flow to the rear cylinders and lowers coolant temperature there
- Helps prevent the pressure build-up that pushes out external freeze plugs and the smaller plugs under the valve cover
