A high-mileage 12-valve rocks hard enough on worn mounts that you feel it through the floor at idle, and Dodge never sold the rubber on its own — the dealer fix is a complete mount assembly. The Energy Suspension 5.1114R (store SKU eng5.1114R) fills the factory voids instead, firming up the mounts already bolted to your truck.
- Hyper-Flex polyurethane inserts press into the voids of the OEM mount, so you keep the original mount and skip the full-assembly price.
- These are a reinforcement, not a replacement mount — the factory rubber has to still be intact for the inserts to seat and hold.
- Supplied as a set rather than a single insert, so both engine mounts get treated in one order.
- Red finish, same Hyper-Flex material as the black 5.1114G version — the colour choice is cosmetic, not a different durometer.
- Resists oil, coolant and road grime, which is exactly what breaks down the soft factory rubber in the first place.
- Built for the 12-valve mount only — the 24V trucks use a different housing and take part 5.1116.
Fits: 1994-1998 Dodge Ram 2500 and Dodge Ram 3500 with the 5.9L Cummins 12V. The 1998 split is mid-year: later-1998 trucks built with the 24V engine take part 5.1116 instead. Check the mount housing on your truck before ordering, because some early changeover trucks left the factory with the opposite style.
