Delphi 7189-100CT Cam Ring for DPA and DP Series Rotary Injection Pumps. The stationary internal cam ring drives the opposed pumping plungers inward through the rollers and shoes, so its lobe profile and surface condition set injection quantity, pressure and timing. Worn or pitted cam ring lobes cause uneven cylinder delivery, low power and rough running. Manufactured to original-equipment specification by Delphi, a diesel fuel injection supplier with more than 60 years of OE engineering behind it.
