This remanufactured Navistar / International EGR Cooler is an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler. It passes recirculated exhaust gas through a coolant-cooled core before that gas re-enters the intake, lowering charge temperature and peak combustion temperature to reduce NOx formation. Listed applications cover 2008-2010 International MaxxForce 9 / MaxxForce 10.
