The Cummins 5579409PX is a remanufactured XPI Gryphon fuel injector for EPA13 ISC and ISL engines. It meters and atomizes fuel into the cylinder under high-pressure common rail control, so a worn or failing injector shows up as rough running, misfire, smoke, hard starting or poor fuel economy. Cummins ReCon parts are remanufactured to the same specifications as new Cummins Genuine parts.
