The Gator Fasteners Competition Series Cylinder Head Stud Kit (part number HSK5967C-CS) is engineered as a direct-fit upgrade for the 1998.5-2021 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins diesel. Factory fasteners can stretch under high cylinder pressure; this kit restores and increases clamping load for high-output builds.
Specifications
- Competition Series, intended for moderately built through high-output engines
- Kit contains 26 head studs, 26 nuts, 26 washers and assembly lube
- Tensile strength over 220,000 psi
- Requires an M12 x 1.75 thread chaser for installation
- Installation requires machining the lower rocker arm cover at the No. 24 bolt hole
