Red Line 75W85 GL-5 Gear Oil is a fuel-efficient differential oil with friction modifier already in the formula. Red Line notes that at 75W it carries roughly a third of the viscosity of a 75W90 at -40 C while delivering comparable wear, film and friction protection. This is the one-gallon jug, a convenient size for a full service on one vehicle. Sold as a case of 4 one-gallon jugs.

Red Line does not recommend this product for most manual transmissions or transaxles with synchronizers. The extreme slipperiness can cause synchronizer mesh issues and shifting problems. Use an MT-series GL-4 gear oil in those applications.
