Key Features
- Gas nitrided stainless steel gives the ring additional surface hardness and scuff resistance, which MAHLE positions above PC479 for high-end power adder work.
- CP-20 assemblies use a chem-polished stainless steel expander with chrome plated carbon steel rails and an exclusive 20 degree ear angle for side seal in the oil ring groove. The ChemPolish process improves oil drain back, and the design does away with wire latches and nylon blocks.
