Top Tec ATF 1400 is a fully synthetic fluid for late-generation continuously variable transmissions that use a steel traction chain or thrust link belt. The formulation is built to resist foaming, ageing and oxidation, which matters in a CVT because the fluid also controls the friction between belt and pulley.
