This is the male half of the Kooks 3 inch ball and socket connection, sold on its own for repairs or for building one side of a custom joint. It consists of a 6 inch length of 3 inch outside diameter 16 gauge 304 stainless tubing with a ball formed on one end, together with a 3 inch two-bolt flange.
