GPC is King's lead-free silver-based tri-metal race material. King rates it at 17,000 PSI against roughly 11,000 PSI for available race materials, and its polymer coating is intended to protect the bearing during oil starvation and metal-to-metal contact while still giving a true standard clearance. Per King's published size chart, the .026 mm size adds about .0005 in of shell thickness on a standard-diameter journal, tightening oil clearance by roughly .001 in.
