Holset 4036054H Turbocharger Wastegate Control Valve. Application: 2004.5-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins. The wastegate control solenoid meters boost pressure to the wastegate actuator, so the ECM can hold commanded boost across the rpm and load range. A stuck or leaking control valve causes overboost, underboost and boost-pressure fault codes. Holset has been the original-equipment turbocharger supplier to Cummins and other heavy-duty diesel manufacturers since the 1950s, and genuine Holset units are built to the same drawing, materials and balance specification as the turbocharger the engine left the factory with.
