Holset 4036836HX Remanufactured Turbocharger. Holset HE351CW series. Application: 2004.5-2009 Dodge 5.9L Cummins HE351CW. This is a fixed-geometry / wastegated Holset charger, where a wastegate bypasses exhaust flow around the turbine to cap boost once the target is reached. Shaft play, worn journal bearings, oil leakage past the seals or a damaged compressor wheel present as low boost, blue smoke, whistling and rising exhaust temperature. Holset remanufactured units are stripped to bare components, cleaned, inspected and rebuilt with new bearings, seals and wear parts, then the rotating assembly is balanced and the finished turbocharger is flow- and leak-tested to original specification. Fitting a genuine Holset charger restores factory boost response, drive pressure and exhaust temperature control without the fitment guesswork that comes with will-fit replacements.
