Holset 4034041H Turbocharger Core Assembly Kit (CHRA). Holset HE531V series. The centre housing rotating assembly is the heart of the turbocharger — shaft, turbine wheel, compressor wheel, bearings and seals, assembled and balanced as a unit. Fitting a factory-balanced Holset core is the fastest way to recover a turbo with shaft play, bearing wear or wheel damage while retaining the original housings. Holset has been the original-equipment turbocharger supplier to Cummins and other heavy-duty diesel manufacturers since the 1950s, and genuine Holset units are built to the same drawing, materials and balance specification as the turbocharger the engine left the factory with.
