Fitting LED turn signals to a vehicle designed around filament bulbs usually upsets the flasher's failure detection. HELLA's 4DN 009 492-101 is an LED-compatible flasher unit that evaluates the ISO 13207-1 current pulse produced by HELLA LED indicators, so bulb-out warning still works with LED lamps, filament bulbs or a mix of both.
