The HELLA 6PU 013 122-831 is a Hall-effect crankshaft position sensor. It tells the engine control unit exactly where the crankshaft is and how fast it is turning, which the ECU needs to calculate injection and ignition timing. The sensor is supplied with its sealing ring.
