Fire ring head gasket for the 5.9L Cummins, .056 inch thick with .105 inch wire at a 4.560 inch bore diameter. Built for engines where cylinder pressure has moved past what a standard multi-layer steel gasket will hold, in both street performance and competition builds.

Fitment
- 2003-2007 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins common rail 24-valve
Machining and Installation
- Machine both head and block flat for best results
- Under 800 HP the groove can be cut in the head only
- Above 800 HP, 625 studs are recommended
- Use a radiused cutter on all groove installations
- Studs are required to achieve reliable clamp load; lubricate nut, washer and threads
- Torque to 130 ft-lbs for startup, then hot retorque at operating temperature
- Each retorque compresses the gasket and changes valve lash, so set lash last
- Never exceed the fastener manufacturer's torque limits
