Go Fast Bits (GFB) part gfb3830 adds exhaust gas temperature monitoring to a D-Force gfb3006 installation. EGT matters on a tuned diesel because boost and fuel changes can push temperatures into territory that damages pistons and turbines, and the module's adjustable flashing warning gives you notice.
Not required if you bought gfb3007, which includes this module as standard.
