Fuelab 868 PRO Series In-Line Fuel Filter -12AN 100 Micron Stainless 10 GPM (flb86824). Fuelab built the 868 PRO Series for systems where a standard filter becomes the restriction. A larger billet body and 6 inch element give it a 10 GPM capacity with minimal pressure drop, and this model uses -12AN inlet/outlet with a 100 micron stainless steel element.
The 100 micron stainless steel element is intended for use as a pre-filter ahead of a fuel pump, where it helps prevent pump cavitation with very low pressure drop. Fuelab recommends a finer element downstream to protect injectors or carburetors.
