Fuelab 858 Series Fuel Filter with Check Valve -8AN 100 Micron Stainless in Gold (flb85821-5). Fuelab's 858 Series takes the long 5 inch filter body and adds an integrated check valve downstream of the element, where the element protects the valve from debris. Configured with a 100 micron stainless steel element and -8AN ports.
The 100 micron stainless steel element is intended for use as a pre-filter ahead of a fuel pump, where it helps prevent pump cavitation with very low pressure drop. Fuelab recommends a finer element downstream to protect injectors or carburetors.
