Fuelab 858 Series Fuel Filter with Check Valve -10AN 100 Micron Stainless in Gold (flb85822-5). The Fuelab 858 Series is the high flow filter and check valve assembly, using a 5 inch element with an integrated check valve on the outlet side. It is built here with -10AN male end caps and a 100 micron stainless steel element.
The 100 micron stainless steel element is intended for use as a pre-filter ahead of a fuel pump, where it helps prevent pump cavitation with very low pressure drop. Fuelab recommends a finer element downstream to protect injectors or carburetors.
