Fuelab 848 Series Fuel Filter with Check Valve -8AN 100 Micron Stainless in Green (flb84822-6). The Fuelab 848 Series combines a 3 inch in-line fuel filter with an integrated check valve on the outlet side, so the fuel system holds pressure after the engine and pump shut down. This version uses -8AN male end caps and a 100 micron stainless steel element.
The 100 micron stainless steel element is intended for use as a pre-filter ahead of a fuel pump, where it helps prevent pump cavitation with very low pressure drop. Fuelab recommends a finer element downstream to protect injectors or carburetors.
