Fuelab 828 Series In-Line Fuel Filter -6AN 100 Micron Stainless in Red (flb82821-2). The Fuelab 828 Series uses a 5 inch element in place of the 818 Series 3 inch element, which gives it greater flow capacity, more filtration area and longer service intervals. This one is set up with -6AN male end caps and a 100 micron stainless steel element.
The 100 micron stainless steel element is intended for use as a pre-filter ahead of a fuel pump, where it helps prevent pump cavitation with very low pressure drop. Fuelab recommends a finer element downstream to protect injectors or carburetors.
